One of the most effective systems functioning in the institution that bridges the gap between the student and teaching community is the tutorial system. Each faculty member is assigned a group of students as their wards.
Faculty member has the additional voluntary responsibility of moulding and guiding their wards in all academic & personal fronts. The rules and regulations, welfare measures and various scholarships available and the ways to go about them are explained to the wards.
Slow learners with difficulties in understanding and learning the subjects at the pace it should be, are paid individual attention, guided and trained by the tutor on the better ways of learning. Sharing of their own problems with their mentors serve a sigh of healthy relief to the students, thus enabling them peacefully concentrate on their studies.

An anti ragging committee has been constituted with the senior faculty as members to prevent any incidents of ragging and to maintain an absolute harmony among the fresh entrants and the students already undergoing various courses. As most of the students belong to the adolescent age, and are fresh from the school, this cell is highly active in embracing the students and setting them in their right tracks. The most beneficiary are the Hostel students who stay a long way from home for want of good education.
